Shipping
Where we ship
We ship worldwide. Orders are dispatched from Sydney, Australia.
Processing time
Because each case is hand-finished and engraving is applied to order, orders are prepared within 2 to 4 business days before dispatch. You will receive tracking by email once your order ships.
Delivery estimates
Transit times after dispatch are estimates, not guarantees, and depend on the destination and carrier:
Australia: 2 to 6 business days
New Zealand: 4 to 9 business days
United States & Canada: 6 to 14 business days
United Kingdom & Europe: 7 to 16 business days
Rest of world: 10 to 21 business days
Shipping cost
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination. Complimentary shipping applies to orders over the thresholds shown at checkout.
Duties, taxes & customs
International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees levied by the destination country. Where these are not collected at checkout, they are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the product or shipping price. Customs processing can occasionally delay delivery beyond our control.
Lost or delayed parcels
If your order has not arrived within a reasonable window beyond the estimate above, contact us at hello@luxheresy.com and we will help trace it with the carrier.
Returns & Refunds
Our window
You may request a return within days of receiving your order, subject to the conditions below. This sits alongside, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and any non-excludable rights in your own jurisdiction.
Condition
To be eligible, eyewear must be unworn and returned in its original packaging, including the case and any documentation, in resalable condition. Because our lenses sit against the face, we cannot accept worn eyewear for hygiene reasons unless the item is faulty.
Engraved items
Cases that have been personalised with engraving are made to your specification and cannot be returned or refunded unless the item is faulty, as the engraving cannot be undone or resold.
Return shipping
If your item is faulty, not as described, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee, we cover return shipping and will replace the item or refund you, including any original shipping paid. For change-of-mind returns that meet the condition above, return shipping is at your expense, and we recommend a tracked service, as we cannot process a return we do not receive.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, an approved refund is issued to your original payment method. Please allow a few business days for your bank or card provider to post it. Original shipping charges are refunded only where the return is due to a fault or our error.
Faulty or incorrect items
If something arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, contact us at hello@luxheresy.com within a reasonable time with your order number and a photo, and we will make it right.

Email hello@luxheresy.com with your order number and the reason for return. Do not send items back before you have received a return confirmation from us.

Lux Heresy respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. It is written to a standard consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles and general international expectations.
What we collect
Information you provide: name, shipping and billing address, email, phone, engraving text, and order details.
Payment information: processed securely by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Usage information: pages visited, device and browser data, and similar analytics collected through cookies and comparable technologies.
How we use it
To process, fulfil, and deliver your orders, including engraving and customs documentation.
To communicate with you about orders, and, where you have opted in, about products and offers.
To improve the site, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
Sharing
We share personal information only with the service providers who make your order possible, such as our commerce platform, payment processors, and shipping carriers, and only as needed to perform their service. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where required by law.

Products & descriptions
Lux Heresy eyewear is designed to filter specific wavelengths of light. Spectral and transmittance figures shown on this site are drawn from spectrophotometer testing carried out per production batch and describe optical performance. They are mechanistic claims about the lenses and are not medical advice or a promise of any particular health outcome. Our products are not medical devices and do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. We aim for accuracy in every description, colour, and figure, but do not warrant that all content is error-free, and we may correct errors and update information at any time.
Pricing & payment
We may change prices at any time before an order is placed. Orders are an offer to buy, which we may accept or decline, for example where an item is mispriced or unavailable, in which case any payment is refunded.
Engraving
Engraving is offered at no additional cost on eligible items and is applied exactly as submitted, so please check your text carefully. As a personalised item, an engraved case is made to order and is non-returnable unless faulty.
Intellectual property
The Lux Heresy name, branding, site design, copy, and original imagery are our property or used under licence and may not be reproduced without permission. The historical artworks used as tier backdrops are in the public domain and are used as decorative reproductions.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Consumer guarantees & liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability can be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to replacing the goods or refunding the price. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of that jurisdiction have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
